DeMond Thomas, a Group Benefits Account Manager, who loves being part of a team. He played competitive basketball in college and even made a career out of helping college students find joy in being part of a team through intramural sports. On the Sanford & Tatum team, he puts that teamwork focus into practice by concentrating on excelling in his position and so his coworkers can do the same. DeMond works with our clients to help choose the right insurance, assist in filing claims and manage administrative issues. Prior to joining Sanford & Tatum, DeMond worked alongside several members of the Sanford & Tatum team, selling a complementary insurance product. His positive interactions with Sanford & Tatum employees made him excited to join the agency.

If you’re a sports fan, you might catch a glimpse of DeMond on TV in his off hours. He’s a college basketball referee and a Division I college baseball umpire. When not working or officiating, DeMond is glad to spend his downtime with his loving wife, Ashley.
